This was a little different setting than in the past.
The rain was beating against the roof tops, puddles were
forming all over the parking area and feet were getting
wet as we scampered to the door only to find out that
our meeting spot was changed. We found ourselves moved
into one of the meeting rooms in the front of the church
building. Instead of the usual large seating area we found
ourselves all gathered around one meeting table in a small
circle. It wasn't the usual but it was a little cozier than in
the past and interactions seemed to be somewhat better.
Tony brought in another of his 10Ghz transverter with a
nice patch box he constructed. It was a good show and tell
item. Ed and Tony also showed off their new acquisitions
from their great trip to Dayton, as Ron terms his "MECA".
George Pidick, who is retired from the physics department
at USF, payed us a visit. Hopefully we will see more of him
in the future and we can aid him in getting his ham license.
Dave Peek was there with his trusty all in one tool to
aid Tony in his presentations. Rounding out the crew was
Uncle George, Fred, Bobbie and myself Terry.
One highlight of notoriety came up during the meeting that
Dave Peek and several others of us decreed noteworthy of
documentation. And here it is; I can't remember what the
topic was, but "Tony and Ron both admitted to NOT knowing
something about that particular topic!" Could this be a
sign that the fabric of our universe is in trouble?
See you all next month!
