[AReU] AReU Meeting recap for 2/1/2005

Hi Everyone,

Another good AReU meeting last night at Brandon.  Attendees
were:

And the spirit (and hopefully not the virus) of W4TAS Tony
Stone)

Topics of discussion went from Ron, Ed, and others giving Terry
some guidance on the traps he brought in from his 18AVT vertical
antenna.  George told us his adventures finding old tube
treasures and displayed an antique tube tester.  Fred brought in
his hand tool battery charger that needed work which Dave Peek
hopefully gave some assistance.  Ed led a good discussion about
some wire antennas and some that he's planning to get ready to
use for the upcoming field day.  Ron Gregory also added to the
discussion with some low wave antennas that he encountered in
his traveling adventures in the upper Northeast.  Ron G. is
getting ready to move on to California and attend some Red Cross
training as he continues on his adventure around the Americas. 
We will miss you Ron and hope to see or hear you again in the
future.  Bobbie, my lovely wife, took in everything and came
home smarter than when she left.  All in all, it was a
good meeting.


Hope to see you all again next month.
