[AReU] AREU Meeting next Tuesday

Next Tuesday is the regular monthly meeting time of the 
Amateur Radio Electronics Union at the Bell Shoals 
Baptist Church. Meeting time is 7:00 PM for social 
half hour and 7:30 PM for start of meeting. 

If nothing has changed, Mike (W4UOO) has a PSK 31 
demonstration for us. He had other obligations last month 
but I'm hoping he will make it this time. 

I will bring my Yo-Yo antenna  and my new FT 817 QRP 
rig for show and tell also. I have really got a blast from this 
little rig and I haven't had it out in the field for a thorough 
test yet. Mike (KB4JHU) had his FT 816 down last week 
with a neat little 50 watt amplifier and a "Buddy Pole" antenna. 
We worked many DX stations with that set up at Davis Park 
after Breakfast a couple of Saturdays ago. Needless to say, I 
was impressed. 

George is bringing a high voltage probe and a digital meter 
to see if they are compatable. I don't have a high voltage supply 
but maybe we can determine if it is working with lower voltages. 

Hope to see a good crowd Tuesday evening.

147.165 MHz (+) with a 136.5 Hz tone.
