[AReU] BARS Picnic

It was decided to have the BARS picnic on October 16. This date 
coincides with the Jamboree on the Air which is sponsored by the 
Boy and Girl Scouts of America. 

I hope we can have a group of scouts at the picnic to enjoy the good 
food and participate in operating the equipment that we plan to have 
set up. 

I have not heard from anyone that is connected with the Scouts but 
I hope this E-Mail will serve as a notice of our intentions.

involved in scouting and are interested in arranging a trip to our picnic.

The picnic will be held at Davis Park in Brandon as it has for several 
years now. It is the same place that we have Field Day. I hope it is 
relatively dry by October 16. Word is that it is pretty wet now after 
all of the storms and associated rain.

to you.
