[AReU] AREU November Meeting

Don't forget the November meeting of AREU. That will be
the 5 th of November if I'm not mistaken. You all can come by after
voting. The polls will be closed by then and that will be a good excuse
to come by to see the guys at AREU. The AO40 satellite will be up and
running and I hope to be able to make a few contacts with my portable
station. This will be the first time to try it in it's final form. I will
have a
home brew 11 element Yagi that Al (WD4A) built for ATV. I modified it
for the uplink frequency plus the standard BBQ grill dish for the downlink.
I will be running about 20 watts on 436 MHz with a linear polarized
antenna so my signal will not be the strongest on the band but hopefully
it will get the job done.
