[AReU] AO40 antenna testing

Don't forget that we are planning get together at Davis Park this Saturday,
Feb. 16, 2002 to test some AO40 downlink antennas. We will also 
have a small tailgate party. The items for the tailgate party will have to 
remain in the trunk of your car or the bed of your truck. Tables are not 
allowed for tailgate items per the Davis Park authority. 
The test equipment for the AO40 antenna testing will be on a table 
however. 

I figure that start time will be about 0900 and we will tentatively gather 
together at the Brandon Field Day site. 

Davis Park is about 1 mile North of highway 60 on Parsons. Go North 
on Parsons from highway 60 until you cross the railroad tracks and 
start looking for Davis Park on your left. There is an antique shop 
sign that is much more visible than the Davis Park sign that is located 
very close to the entrance to Davis Park. 

If you need directions, someone will be listening to the Brandon 
repeater on 147.165 (+) to help you out. The tone access has 
been removed so don't worry about setting your tone. 

If you don't have an antenna to test or something to tailgate, just 
come for fun of being around a bunch of crazed hams and hopefully 
for a day in the sun and moderate temperatures that this time of the 
year is famous for here in Brandon.
