[Ares-races] FN Pack

Lake County Illinois RACES/ARES is using FNPack. It is a good tool for
controlled packet net operations and message handling. The message handling
feature is not very intuitive in my opinion. We have had to have a number of
training sessions to get operators used to FNPack operations. We have held
weekly packet nets with FNPack with some success. In my opinion, regular
practice is necessary. This is not something that an unfamiliar operator can
walk up to and start using. I do think that it is a great tool for traffic
handling in a controlled net.

If you do a Google search, the correct spelling is FNPack, no space.

What is FN Pack? I tried a google search and couldn't narrow
down the results to anything like a packet radio program.
