[Ares-races] Portable Station help wanted

I believe most any portable station will be one of custom design and trying
to use readily available commercial product will introduce another set of
compromises. In regards to the unit featured in the article my guess it's
the bulk of the unit that requires two people. I have no doubt that it also
heavy, particularly it it's built out of solid 5/8-3/4 plywood. A wooden
cabinet can be lightened up considerably by skinning frames with 1/4 or
smaller plywood.
On occasion a local hardware store has a decent folding table on sale for
~$20.00. I may purchase one of those to have on hand. build a light weight
box to transport the rigs in. I already have a gellcell in an ammo box.
Collectively heavy but, easier for one person to handle individually.--73
