[Ares-races] 12 volt power connectors

Hi Rick,
I haven't had them fall out... I just haven't needed them because the
friction-fit "fits" my needs. I have talked to others who have had them
fall out, though.
Who knows, maybe Anderson had bad experiences with them and "tightened" up
the manufacturing tolerances so they are now a tighter fit? It is possible
that different manufacturing runs made a difference. Just a thought.
KISS concept in my case- why deal with the extra component if you don't need
it? If you do need it, and they work for you, great!

Marlo

Gee, from all the comments I've read, it seems I'm the only one who not only
has
NOT had problems with the role pins, but has to use a small drift punch to
get
them out. (I had to tap them in with a hammer.) To separate the housings
is
nearly impossible.
