YL and OLs:
My beloved XYL has given me the green light to install my Yaesu FT1500 2M rig in our nearly paid-for 1999 Chevy Malibu. Lots of plastic everywhere, butterfly hinge mount, hefty power cord.
Would like your input on **how you installed your rig, especially when it came to routing the power cord through the firewall.**
CAUTION: My XYL said she wanted a neat installation with nothing dangling or rattling.
