Hello Paul,
Not sure I understand the reference unless your referring to the Northridge
earthquake. Don't know why it was called the Northridge as the epicenter
since there really was no epicenter. Instead of being a horizontal
slippage, it was a vertical which caused the entire fault line, seven miles
down, slipped at one time. The fault line began in the Pacific ocean,
through Santa Monica, under the Santa Monica Mountains, through the San
Fernando Valley (which is were Northridge is),under another mountain row,
through Simi Valley, through another mountain ridge and up through many very
old towns. Only time in my life that I ever woke up four feet over the bed.
