[Ares-races] Are any ARES groups incorporated?

Our ARES group is not incorporated, but both our repeater group and local
radio club are.

Check with the Sec. of State of your state or a local ham/lawyer for the
requirements in your state.... once that is done, you can look into federal
registration as a 501(c)3 non-profit so contributions to your group will be
tax deductible.

Incorporation, along with the proper liability and property  insurance, will
also provide protection for your officers, members, and group property.
