I have a TBY in grey paint, no doubt a 1945+ overhaul.  I don’t know why i bought it. Maybe to package with a fitting AC supply and resell.
I wonder how that repaint process went. I shudder.

A fellow i know told me he repainted a TBY. I did not ask more, i was afraid what i would be told. But now i am curious enough that i sure

would.

Steve Bartkowski gave me this Japanese walke talkie, i think it’s 99 Type 2, that he said “buzzed like a rattlesnake”. He had plans to restore

the thing, but gave up. Maybe a smart move.
