Those are getting difficult to find, now. They often fail these days.
For several of my previously hacked-up receivers, I have had to replace the missing transformers with cheap "line transformers".

I’m working on getting a colonial BC946 up to at least operational. The previous owner removed the output transformer for room to accommodate a bolt on PSU
I guess they planned to use an external unit/speaker combo.
This set has been modified so not a museum piece but is complete enough to have operational potential.
Does anyone have an original audio xfmr with protection neon bulb from a parts unit available?
