I can confirm TWEB was carried on LAX. This later became IGD still on 332 kcs.  Lots of NDB at the time. This was at least 50 years ago.

I believe TWEB was broadcast over NDBs and HIWAS was broadcast over VORs -- and I think both were discontinued about 5 years ago.

That being said, I haven't flown in a long time, and I'm sure there are current pilots that can let us know.
