Hue,There are no more officer's clubs, chief's clubs, NCO clubs, Nothing. All done, as the USN is afraid a sailor might have a bit of a drink or two, and then become an alchholic.A shame.Maybe woosie is to kind a description.R

______________________________________________________________I talked today to a fellow who was on a carrier drydocked at Bremerton WA ( aka "Bummerton" ) in recent history and he told me about chipping off old paint. Did not sound like fun. I only have myself been to Bremerton once; to see some WW2 ship parked there temporarily. I hope the USN base has a good NCO club, because it looks like it might be a real bummer to be based there, especially in grey winter. Of course, the big city, Seattle, is only a 45 minute ferry ride away.-Hue Miller
