For racks, I have had success by using the bead blaster at the local airport.  Knowing the lead mech, helps.  He's a cw op.
The outcome has always been good, with the finest, aluminum grade, grit.  Post-op cleaning is a must, however.

Getting the bench set up for going thru all my SCR-269 and -274 stuff. A couple of questions for the group.....

On cleaning...Dawn dish soap and DI water in an ultrasonic bath, with a DI water and then isoproply alcohol rinse for removing all the sticky stuff and old grease and lubricants ok for racks and control heads, of is there a better process?

Dynamotors...IPA flush and warm air dry for cleaning the rotors and bearings?

Recommended lubricants for dynamotor bearings, control head gear trains and shafts? Wondering if some of the high grade watch lubricants for gear trains and pivot oils would work well for everything else?

Suggestions and/or better ideas?
