Wasn't there a photo posted on Milsurplus some year B.P. ( Before Plague ) that showed TBW RBM setup, somewhere like Okinawa ?
Also, altho i don't really recomnend it, the 1960s movie 'Destination Gobi' ( i think that was the title ) has the "rear view" of the TBW at a weather reporting station in Gobi desert WW2. A little imagination helps pick it out. Whoever wrote
the script though, did have some inside knowledge of WW2 U.S. Navy wx reporting stations. I saw this movie way back in '60s and then a few decades later bought a DVD of it for not much money, privately made. What i really wanted to review was my memory of
back then - one of the enlisted tells the officer they are out of business because of lack of a spare 807. At least i seem to recall that was the tube number, definitely not 1625 or 803. The station gets bombed, i don't recall if before or after replacement
tube shortfall, and so they have no choice but to close down and travel on foot to China coast. I would rate movie maybe 5 - 6 stars out of 10. I feel i got my money's worth, definitely.
