The UPS stores are terrible!
Their packing techniques are not adequate for heavy items. Often the packing involves nothing more than throwing the item in a box and giving if a "foam peanut shower".
By the time it get where it's going, the cargo has tumbled , shifted anf smacked against or through the side of the box.

Even if you elect to do your own packing, they add $20-$30 on top for the service of measuring and weighing the parcel.
I do my own measuring, weighing, and packing, I can then take to the drop point for FREE.

Well, put at least about $20 on top of that. They take everything to a UPS store, and the store packs it. Usually they also use a much larger box than need be. 73 – Mike

I have found that the shipping charges from Schulman’s is too high to make any purchase worthwhile. Maybe if one can pick the items up, it is OK. 73 – Mike

Just my take - these are great generators but the last thing I need is one more 'thing' to keep running and signal generators are essential. Plus the shipping has to be a killer.  I bet these would do very well on a well-run bidding site such as Dave Schulman's.  Of course, getting them to Dave is the problem (fyi he is in the Kansas City, Missouri area).   I hope you find a good home for them.
