FYI.  I use 500V regulated to my T-22.  It draws 100mA from the plate while producing almost 30W out.  Then you add 1625 screen current (separately regulated) and 1626 plate current to that, but it's all well below 150mA in my setup.

Most of us use a voltage divider for the HV, Screen and Oscillator voltages.   Easy to build.

The HV needs to be 550V @ 200 mA at a MINIMUM.

Check the specs on your HP-23 variant.   The HP-23B has a HV rating of 700v @ 250 mA.  That should be fine using a variac in front of the HP

Hi Folks,

I'm new to the list, and I am looking for some advice about using an HP 23 power supply for my T-22.

I still use the power supply for my HW 101, so I do not want to make any mods to the PS itself, I would rather add a voltage divider external to the PS that I could plug in for the T-22 and remove for the HP 23.

Thanks in advance and 73,
