warping/shrinking up that if possible without damaging it I would like to flatten out. It looks to be fibrous and not plastic.

I'm sure this question has come up before. Unless someone has successfully found a way to do this...I'm maybe leaning more to just leave it as is. It's from a Navy AMA radio that was going to be used in a amphibious glider but the program was scrapped. It's similar to the BC-721 that were used in the gliders on D-Day.
