Web site includes this suggestion:
"Or modifiy an MX-21/ARC-5"
Why keep hacking original parts? There's plenty of already modified MX-21s around. And it's not that hard to make a small plate to replace the original MX-21, with connections made to the radio's pins with salvaged octal socket "wrap around" connections or even bits of 1/8 inch brass tubing (just don't solder to the radio's pins).
