The photo below is the exact radio compliment for the Collings PBY-5A Bureau Number 2459.

Should you all have any of the gear shown in this photo and would like it to go to a worthy project please let me know. A few coil sets needed! There are two RU’s for the GO-9 and one RU/GF for the pilots called the intra squadron set.

We have one full RU, NOS in the boxes from eBay a while ago. Two more to go.

Anyone have a DW-1 direction finding set or something close? Photo attached.

Also attached are some recent shots showing the newly made radar arrays and paint.

Casey and his crew at American Aero are doing a great job for sure.

Subject: NAF 38610 WWII Navy headsets needed

Would any of you fine folks happen to have any extra NAF38610 headsets to donate or sell to the PBY-5 project? This is the most historic PBY from WWII as she sank three U boats including the first one sank by any PBY.

I am helping with the restoration and they are putting all of the original equipment that she had including very early RADAR and comm gear. She used 9 of these headsets but we are happy with whatever we can get.
