So i have to tell a story. In ancient times, say 1971 A.D., i wrote G&G company in NYC to place an order for a BC-312. I got no answer, no check cashed, nothing. About a year later i got a letter asking me if i still wanted that order. ( This was in the era of "paper communications medium". ) I let that purchse go, did not go with it. Later i had a conversation with someone ( someone there ? ) that G&G had reimported BC-312s from France and rewired them for standalone non diversity use. A year later i was in France and bought a magazine 'Le Haut Parleur de Radio - TV' and i saw ads in the back for mil surplus radios., among those numbers of BC-312. Were used in France many years past US.
