I applaud anyone using the equipment on the air and moreso i suppose on 10 meters, which is not so often usable.
I have been letting my brother sell off some of my gear, a money-share proposition, while i downsize. He sold earlier
this year a pair, the German 20WSc transmitter and the UkwEd receiver. This gear is really, i mean really, nice looking
and tunes 27.2 up to 33 MHz. The buyer got it working in short order, which actually surprised me, i thought there
would appear more problems to work out, but these 2 are not as compressed as some other sets, so plenty of room
to work. Anyway buyer put them on 10 and worked out across a bunch of states. He said it was a big kick and i don't
doubt that a bit. Herewith a photo of his setup. You can't see much of the protagonists here; they're kinda smothered
by test equipment, power supplies and such, but you get the overall. I was so happy ! that they went to someone who
would actually restore them and put on air ! But, he mentioned that they would be passed on to a museum, not a
private collector, which i think is a sad and unwelcome fate.
