I agree with you, Steve. I still have one spiral-bound original paper log book which came from Yaesu. Cover is red.
I have been fighting some new health issues and so I have not been able to answer your answer to me from earlier.
I simply did not scroll down far enough on your page.
And thank you for providing this template. I can print off 100 or so and have them spiral-bound at our local Kinko's. This also means I can draw up a "custom" cover. ;-)
Thanks bunches.

I still have all the supplies and equipment to make the spiral-bound logbooks. I shut that business down as I found that only was able to sell a few - even at a very low price. I tried offering them online and at hamfests.
I
have always kept a paper log and was surprised how few other hams did
so. Those who kept a log at all seemed to want to do it by computer. This
approach makes a lot of sense and I understand the modern reasons for
doing so (fast searching and data-sharing with online systems
particularly), but for me the paper log is somehow more satisfying.

I have a spiral bound book of these I think Steve made/sold many moons ago. Glad I can print more sheets from the original design!

The link to the log files can be found at the bottom of the first page at
