I made substitutes for the 6743 tuning crank by taking cranks off of beat up and, to me useless, remote tuning units. Put them together with splines and lock nuts from damaged tuning cables. I also found correct splines elsewhere and put them together with tuning unit cranks. The original splines were made during WW II by the S.S. White Co. that makes dental equipment. Don't suppose they still make therm?
