I'm restoring a ARN5 / BC-733 ILS system and have found all of the parts except for the BC-732 control box.Recently I found complete set for sale complete with cabling and control box. on the pictures of the set I could see that the connectors on the BC-733 where missing but because the price was (very) moderate I bought the set.
Now it has arrived I see that this is a slightly different installation.
Both the ARN-5, the BC-733 and the BC-732 control box are upgraded to 12 channels. The visual indicator is very much like the original ID-101 but has the horizontal en vertical flags. The indicator has a post war British plug so perhaps the conversion is Britsh??.
The ARN-5 is an original ARN-5A with one additional plug and and the ID on the front reads; R89P/ARN-5A/12 (the R89P and /12 are handwritten additions to the original ID.
The BC-733 has handwritten /12 to the original ID.
The BC-732 control box has handwritten -12 to the original ID and the channels switch has now 12 positions A to L
So now besides getting this 12 channels set working again I'm still looking for a BC-732 control box.
Anyone that is familiar with this 12 channels installation and perhaps has a wiring diagram?
