A quick consultation with the Shure Brothers told me 10 pF at about 1.2 MHz is around 12kR. At 500 kHz the impedance is about 33k. It occurred to me, why not use resistors
as coupling elements? You would have to use a capacitor in series to keep DC at bay. This capacitor will be large enough that phase shift thru the RC series will be minimal.
I am thinking, using a pure resistance “might” help optimize, better the tuned circuit tracking as well as “possibly” minimizing interaction between tuned circuits. Truthfully,
i have in my years only seen one circuit that used resistance coupling between two tuned circuits. If you can cite any example you have seen, i will truly thank you for telling
me about it.
