Well Dave, i recall listening to VLF CW on a hb regenerative receiver and later discussing VLF stations with another Seattle fellow who had a page long log of VLF stations he had heard - in the city ! But them days is over forever. In Europe, the MW broadcast band is even being depopulated. I recently on a 2 meter net mentioned "ULF natural radio" and that was news to the other members. I think this all means i am an "OT". I only wish now i had listened to the TFC on 600 meters band. I think it must have been that in those younger days i had nothing that tuned the 450 - 500 kcs band.
