Agree with you that NOS CD-307s are already rotten. I bought 10 of them from Fair Radio a while back. All were sealed but the rubber was dried out. I rebuilt them using 3 conductor, rubber covered line cord. I have a number of plugs. They are current mfg. brass MIL plugs and have the tiny lugs and screws and in sealed bags. Can't help you with the JK-26, however. The last unused ones I bought were from Fair, again at least 25 years ago.  That said, some Brasso and a brush will do wonders if you find cutoffs. If used and have a brass retaining collars, just use care in removing them.

Anyone have, or know of a decent source for JK-26 and PL-55 jacks and plugs?  I need to make up 5 sets of extension cables for the one airplane project. I can find NOS CD-307 cables, but the wire jacket is in bad enough shape that they will need new wiring. I've only been able to find the JK's in  well used cutoffs and would like to find some in better condition or NOS.
