I think I may have found that incident: if I am correct, this took place in April of 1945 at around 0245 at an American airbase near Bury St. Edmonds. No injuries to anyone. 

The report states that both engines suddenly quit while pilot was attempting to land after a mission and  the aircraft hit "a car". Aircraft was a total write off.

No details on the car involved. :-)
