Christmas time is here.

Shopping trips are near.

All my money's down the drain.

I'm crying in my beer.

Sleigh bells in the air,

 I'm in deep despair.

My bank account is sinking fast

leaking money everywhere.

Carols in the air,

Children in my hair,

I don't know if I can stand

more ties and underwear.

Christmas time is near.

Time for joy and cheer.

But not for me

'cause I can see

 the bills will all come here!
