Yep, APS-13 was what it was.  I thought of it,
 but was not sure 66 years after the fact.

I don't remember now what I bought for about $5
that I think was some sort of device used  in the
tail of a heavy bomber.  No real use to me but I
took it apart for tube sockets (7-pin miniature) and
whatever tubes they contained.  The initiation of my
"junk box" in about 1954.
