I have about 100 24 volt at 8 amp power supplies (SMPS). These come with regular AC cord that plugs into the supply and an output cord. They are built into a hard plastic enclosure, and would be ideal for numerous mil gear. I tested one myself ages ago with a large variable load resistor and an HP clamp on amp-meter. 8 amps no problems, a little more and it starts folding back. 73 – Mike

Subject: [ARC5] 24vdc power
Hey guys,
What's everybody using to provide 24vdc for your military radios? Two 12vdc supplies in series? Home brew? Do they make a 24vdc switching supply that will handle 10 amps or so?
Thanks for your input,
Richard kn7sfz
