[ARC5] Dynamotor Mounts?

All the ones that I've encountered had a thin nut, with just two wrenching flats, on the inner side of the chassis. Impossible to remove without removing a bunch of the electronics parts to get room to work. The nuts are usually also "stuck" with some of that black paint-like stuff which may contribute the why they're a little hard to get turning.

This is probably a dumb question (I am really good at those!)

I am trying to move dynamotor shock mounts from a junker chassis to a good one.  I figured out that the top part unscrews. I expected the bottom to just drop out at that point. When it didn't I applied a little force and it still didn't budge.

Are these just a press fit? Before I apply more force I want to make sure there's not something I'm missing.

Thanks,
