I guess I'm still a "kid": I took my Novice Morse test on Nov. 9, 1965, the night of the Great Northeast Blackout. My callsign, WN3EWV, arrived in the mail a month later, and I had my first QSO with Ron, VE2AOU, 60 years ago this April 11. Rig was a Knightkit T60 and R55A.

This will be my 69th year as a ham. Started in 1957 with a used SX-100 and a DX-40 that I built from kit. Still have the same call.
