[ARC5] Edo-Aire 156-M1 ADF control unit and ARC/Cessna

Colleagues,

I have a technical question. The Edo-Aire 156-M1 ADF control units 
appeared on numerous auctions on the web. In most cases the 156-M1 was 
fitted in the Cessna 500 and 550 Citation II aircraft from the 1970s. 
Since there is scarcity of documentation and no matching ADF receiver is 
currently known, could the said control unit serve an ADF receiver from 
the Aircraft Radio Corp./Cessna stables? Or and ADF receiver by Collins?
