Good comments Hugh.
We will be moving to a Senior Care community soon, so my plan is this…
1. Put stuff like this on ebay at a ridiculous price in a kind of holding
pattern while I pack up more stuff.
2. Then, when more stuff is ready to go, I am going to put them on ebay but
also post them here and accept reasonable and sane offers just among us
chickens. Sometimes for shipping only.
Just sold 2 SCR-274 dual RX racks with shock mounts including 8 plugs. Got
$166 for everything after ebay’s cut. So I gave the guy 2 tuning cables
gratis.
Take a look at my other listings. Ebay takes up to 25%
Then while it’s on ebay, if no private offers on this kind of stuff from
guys on this list or the milsurplus list, then this goes off to the dump…
TBX 5
SCR-522 complete
BC-1306
RAX-1
BC-733’s
ARC-5 VHF, 2each: racks, plugs, controls
2 complete SCR-609’s with power supplies and full crystal sets,
accessories, handsets etc.
Lots more. But I need to pull it all out, photograph, weigh it, etc. As
we know, anything the Army puts handles on they call it portable, but I’m
83.. not so!
So check ebay for now.
Gotta try to get a few $ so I can tell my wife
It wasn’t a total waste!
I need to send a note to the list manager to see if it’s OK to list ebay
numbers here.
