[ARC5] FS: BC-610-E AM Transmitter with BC-614E Speech Amplifier, Spares

ARC-5'ers,

A local ham here in Nicholasville, KY (Jon, KM4HPL) has asked me to 
help him sell his BC-610E setup. It came from another local ham who 
used it for years until it stopped working. Jon purchase this 
transmitter a while back with the intention of repairing it and 
joining us on the AM airwaves. After sitting in his living room for 
over a year un-repaired, his XYL gave him an directive to see it 
go. You probably get the rest of the story.

I've looked at the BC-610E/BC-614E and taken several photos. It 
appears complete less some tubes and the interconnect cable between 
the TX and speech amplifier. I could see the 250TH inside the top 
section, but did not open it up for inspection. It includes the 75M 
tank coil, though not shown in the picture.

Also included in the package is a second BC-610E transmitter that 
has been cannibalized for several parts, including tubes, meters 
and the modulation transformer. The spare lived in an equipment 
shed and is not as nice as the primary transmitter. It is pictured 
as well.

As you know, these rigs are in the 400lbs range and not practical 
to ship by freight, unless you are or know a trucker, hi! No FEDEX 
or UPS here. They are pickup only and Jon is very flexible about 
meeting and helping to get them out of his QTH. His XYL will assist 
in expediting the process.

The transmitters can be viewed on e-Bay where they are currently 
listed. Jon is very motivated (understatement) to pass these on to 
a new home, and will accept any reasonable offer. And, pull from 
e-Bay listing for a private cash sale.
