Mark, darn interesting post ! Last person to chute from the plane. That IS something to note and remember, altho i don't think Guiness has a category fot it - yet. The noise complication - something i'd never considered at all before. So different from running the gear down here in the shack.
I have only flown in one AC that was REALLY loud, and that was some earlier model Army chopper. I thought it was torture.
