I have this batt box for the IE-19-A for SCR-522. It's a heavy thing, 9.5 lbs. The insides are intact; space for batteries, a barrier strip for connecting dry batts; and a 4 pin F connector AN 3057-4 on a few foot long cable. Cable is non - sticky ! Box inside is perfect condx. I have lugged this around for way too many years. I think i maybe scrapped the IE instrument years ago. At one time i thought of keeping this box to power up something like the regen receiver of the SCR-178 / 179, cuz those receivers seem often to be found without the large overall wooden field case. But no, i want to do something about this, and soon.

I offer this box free for shipping cost only. Which may be substantial; the 1970s are way over. Figure box abt 10 ins. square and 10 lbs. I do not really expect anyone to want this.
More photos available.
If no request, i will remove connector with cable and steel box returns to scrap ore.

Years ago, i did have a complete SCR-178 but didn't have plans for it. A former member of these groups advised me i could get a good tax writeoff by donating it to the Fort Lewis museum. I should have gotten a clue when a museum administrator showed me a list of their holdings and there was listed a "RV12P2000 German radio". Donating it there was like throwing it to disappear into the darkness of the La Brea tarpits. Stupid, stupid, stupid move, and i may get over it eventually.
