Could the R-11A LF receiver + L-10A loop antenna + C-48 control head be
used for anything else than goniometry actually? In that respect, that's
still a very unique LF range receiver setup given its DF capabilities
compared to the plethora of other simplistic LF 'range receivers' of
that vintage. Consider eg. the Motorola Airboy, RCA AVR-15A, Detrola
Model 438, Setchell-Carlson Model 524, A.R.C. Type K, A.R.C. BC-453 or
R-23, etc.
