[ARC5] AR-88 Receiver question

My AR-88 actually came from England, so not surprisingly it didn't have 
the S-meter installed.   I got to looking at an S-meter that came out of 
a Hallicrafters SX-28 and thought hey that could work - and it did, a 
perfect fit and a proper match electrically.  It even has acquired the 
same orange patina as the tuning dial!   I don't mind that it says 
"Hallicrafters" on the face.
