[ARC5] NDB’s

Some years ago, I remember, distinctly, copying an NDB in, I believe, NorthWest Territories, 
Canada from my BC-453. I was somewhat surprised, both at how far away it was, and, as I 
remember it, at such low power. I think it was running only about 100 watts..

I doubt if it is there any longer.

At thst time, I enjoyed hunting for them. It seemed to me that anything so simple, should be 
reliable, and really shouldn't be dumped....but "simple" seems to enrage moderns. I never 
could understand why.
