[ARC5] Tubesters

Thanks to both Tom Lee and Dan Osborne for the very interesting pointers to the 'Tubesters'. I had this on my to-do list for years now, i mean looking up more info on 
these interesting devices. I wonder why these didn't make a bigger splash. Do you have an idea ? I was thinking it might be the approx 2:1 ratio of B voltages in tube
receivers, like around 100 volts and up to 250 in Nationals, whereas with solid state receivers 9 to 15 might be more like it. So maybe not so easy to sell a plug & play
device ?  ( My brother calls this "plug & pray".  )
