[ARC5] [Boatanchors] Question about radios on WWII airplanes

Anyone familiar with the National NC-183D?

L9 80 meter band switch coil (first RF plate to second RF grid).

At the bottom of the coil form is a threaded fitting which screws onto a threaded stud.

Question: Is that mounting stud threaded to the coil mounting plate so it is held firm when removing and replacing the coil?
