I have a not - built BN-1 and i think before assembling it i should maybe scan the cabinet and panel for replica builders. I wrote "not - built" above because some Ebayites sell "unbuilt kits" which means, literally, they disassemble the kit, supply fresh parts as needed  and presto!

Say, one interesting thing abt the BN-1, trans - rec switching is accomplished by heating alternate sides of the tapped filament  quite like the AN/CRC-7.
