I'm the seller of the ARC single receiver shock mount. I received the shock mount, a single receiver rack and an R-13B 108-135 Mhz. (the entire aircraft navigation and communications band) receiver as 'compensation' for work done for a friend. After having here a couple of years, decided I wasn't going to use any of it in my ARC setup.
This isn't the first time I've seen WWII pieces repurposed for use with the gray 1950's radios. The aluminum sections joining the cut sections of the mount are carefully cut to fit, and the riveting work is extremely good. Had no problem describing it as Depot work.
Years ago got a WWII receiver remote control cut in half (by Australia) for use with a single receiver (from one of the regulars on the list).
