[ARC5] USAF usage of the A.R.C. R-22 BCB receiver

I think someone mentioned CONELRAD re this subject. I recall hearing one CONELRAD broadcast, this must have been around
1961, and i was home from school when i heard it. The modulation was very screwed up. It was not at all impressive, rather 
disappointing that they couldn't get this right. I'm sure what i heard was over a regular AM station freq, and very most likely
KIRO Seattle 710, because my mother would not have known anything about 640 and 1240.
